The goal of The Gate is to provide
an enjoyable racing experience to all on-road electric
racers for all in the coming years. Our racetrack is a
permanent race facility. We race indoors on foam tires on
5000 square feet of newly installed CRC Ozite carpet
installed and glued down in August. The Gate also
installed a new sub floor this year for an ultra smooth
racing surface. Our facility
located in the Southgate USA shopping center has received
many accolades and endorsements by professional drivers
locally and around the world.
New for 2008
will be a dedicated mini track (1/36 - 1/14th scale) that
will allow for simultaneous use on both on practice and race
days for mini cars.
We race the following classes.
Some classes may not be run on any given day due to lack of
participants.

1/10th Scale Bomber (Vintage Bodies)
We use the latest in AMB
and RC Scoring Pro and timing systems to provide an
excellent racing environment for new and advanced drivers.
